Backad was created in January 2003 from the association of two complementary construction professionals who both believe that the Asian Construction Industry is on the path of technical progress but needs Specialists to give a hand.

The field of activity of the Company is extremely specialised: Building Envelope, i.e Roofing, Waterproofing, Insulation, Flooring, Coatings, Cladding and the like.
Being the sole independent experts in that particular field in South East Asia, we believe that this offer is unique.

Knowing the current low status of this industry, room for improvement is large and we are proud of our modest input in the long and difficult path towards safer and more reliable buildings and infrastructures in Asia.
